Rumpke Provides...

Rumpke will provide solid waste collection of up to (3) 32-gallon cans, a 96-gallon trash cart or their equivalent for each pickup, or a total of six cans per week from each residence, business, industrial or institutional establishment within the town of Osgood. 

Rates

Garbage Pickup

Trash will be collected Mondays and Thursdays, year round.

Heavy Trash Pickup

There will not be a scheduled large item pickup. Heavy trash items will be collected on Thursdays only, with a limit of two large items per month.

Acceptable items include:

  • Old clothing
  • Furniture sealed in plastic wrapping (available at Town Hall for a small fee)
  • Mattress or box springs sealed in plastic (available at Town Hall for a small fee)
  • Old rugs/carpet pieces
  • Rubber hose
  • Appliances (washers/dryers)
  • Insulation
  • Cans and buckets, completely cleaned and dry
  • Paint cans

Items NOT accepted:

  • No electric devices containing mercury (TV’s, computers, microwaves, cell phones)
  • No building and construction materials (bricks, etc.) or remodeling materials (interior/exterior)
  • No car body parts including wheels and tires
  • No steel or metal framing
  • No tree limbs or leaves
